Not that familiar with 996 platform but I highly doubt it since 996t uses a single pump. For 997t, second pump kicks on via relay when more fuel is needed.

Pumps are glued in there. They look the same.

I am wondering if anyone already tried to use that obviously more powerful 997 pumps completely in that plastic sump-cage to replace the 996 pump an get in twist-snapped in the 996 fuel tank bottom and connected? Both seem to be the same supplier company and powering both pumps all the time shouldn't harm anything.

Would personally like such a solution a lot more than inline 2nd pump near engine.
