UPDATE: my local HRE reseller is going to get them re-powder coated for me - all 4 wheels under warranty apparently - which is great. I can switch coloured finishes if I like (only powdered ones though). A shame as I really like the new black with brushed face - a nice change that would have made this hassle all worth-while.

The really tricky part now is working out how I can remove the tyres (and TPMS sensors), and ship the wheels to them. Then what to do with a car with no wheels for a couple of weeks (and how to get home from where ever I take the wheels off). So this is going to take some planning. Shame I sold my OEM wheels a couple of years back.

thats why I hold on to the stock stuff, you never know! Glad its working out, I would expect nothing less from HRE and the expected quality / service from the price of admission.

Typical HRE fashion. First class all the way and always stand behind their products with world class customer service. Other aftermarket wheel companies need to benchmark these guys and learn...

UPDATE: HRE MD Alex has been really going out his way to accommodate me on this issue. HRE are perfectly willing to re-finish my current wheels under warranty, or, do me a fantastic deal on a new set (with different finish) and trade in my old ones. So as I am having major headaches finding a way of removing wheels from my Porsche and then storage for a couple of weeks, I have decided to take Alex up on his very generous offer. Should take 2-3 weeks but I am now ordering a new set of 19" P40 finished in charcoal gloss with a brushed face. Pictures to follow

That charcoal gloss and brushed face looks incredible. On the white turbo, are those wheels shown with black gloss? Sharp.

Yes black gloss on the white turbo - a bit too much contrast for me - hence why I am going for charcoal

Props to HRE. I will definitely consider them in my future purchase. Always thought of HRE as high quality. It's good to know they have excellent service as well.
