Stuck in Sports mode

I've had my car for over a couple of months, and have realized I use sport mode 90% of the time. Am I the only one?
I have been using the car in M mode PDK for most of the time, unless my wife is with me or if I'm drinking something in the car. I have also been city driving in third gear and in highway driving in 3rd and 4th gear. The 4th gear has a beautiful exhaust pitch, so it makes it that much more special. In 4th, I also feel the torque is exactly where perfect in this gear.
Is there any issues that I should be aware of by driving the car in 4th gear? Obviously, I am talking mechanical, and not gas consumption.
Great day guys!

Only concern I would have is if you're still in the break-in period. You should be varying engine speeds/gears during this time. Otherwise, I don't see how cruising in 4th should be any issue.

The car has 6,000+ miles, so no worries.

Cruise away- your 2011'tts has plenty of warranty left- Im sure if your just cruising sport mode will be slightly less comfortable- throttle is more sensitive, suspension tighter. ect.

I do too, but not a dentist....the sport mode is addictive and not nearly as harsh as a 997.1 in sport. FWIW I redlined mine leaving the dealer, try to hit it hard once a day, traffic permitting! Doesn't use a drop of oil.

Pressing the Sport button (non plus) is the second thing I do... after starting the car.

I enjoy sport , non PASM, for daily driving. Normal for gridlock freeway and sport plus, PASM recently at the track with both windows open. What fun it was. And it sounded great.

As another dentist, I agree. Sport Mode all the time (but I usually wait until oil is warmed up)! And take offs with Sport Mode and traction control OFF!

You guys aren't real docs...........! We use sport mode each day, scope with one hand and always ensure that we are armed with the latest jokes at rounds!

Cheers,

I wish I worked less hours as a resident. Barely got out of the office at 10 pm last night.
