GL with staying out of trouble boggy. In a car like this it's inevitable I'm afraid. I mean how do you drive any car at the posted limit 100% of the time least of all a car like this? It's all a numbers game my friend. I went 17 years fine free until this baby and then 12 months later boom. Now it's like screw it. I think trouble usually comes in runs and you can only last so long and listening to for story it's sounding like your numbers are coming around buddy. The planets are lining up. I had a lot of near misses leading up to some hits and still get them but it's the hits that really hurt. Well.. **** you off is the better word for it. Try not to worry. Thats all you can do.

Ah right! Thankfully none of that. Thanks for the concern.

I hear you my friend. It's probably inevitable but maybe not. I drive close to the speed limit much of the time with the occasional bursts of speed. This is why I chose a comfy and enjoyable ride like the tt rather than a Viper or ZR1 which have tons of raw power but may not be enjoyable at legal speeds.

Some provinces here allow radar detectors but not mine. I had considered an undetectable Escort etc... but just haven't bothered.

I don't know Asher. I think Paul is on to something here. Don't want to jinx you but it happened to me too. Around midnight, out of the blue, boom, nailed for 88 in 65. No radar, nothing, just guesstimate (probably good for me--lol). Fall weather is so tempting. Hope you make through the season!

Did you get your car back, Dave? Or was it 88 on your bicycle? lol

I've been laying low alright after the close calls and some of these stories. I'll get to wind her up at the track on the long weekend - apparently Mosport is the fastest Lemans series track. Last year I hit 150mph on the back straight. A little scary.

No I'm still in the queue. Shouldn't be too much longer. The only good thing is no turbo = no tickets--lol. Have fun on the track!

Hopefully soon, Dave. Want to see/ride in that bad boy.
Once we settle into the land of eternal good weather, I have a bad feeling my interactions with law enforcement may become a bit more frequent

Yeah, me too--lol. On the plus side, no speedlight cameras out here. Plus methanol spray is only optional.

I guess winter is the "good weather" season for you. What are temps like now?

Still anywhere from 100-110 everyday. The 'good' season out here doesn't start for another month. But I'm moving to where the temps will instantly be 30 degrees cooler

Southern California. Canuck-land is just a bit too cool, but thanks for the invite
