Yeah right, ....to avoid 1-time early morning instant restart, I pay +$2K for tune, ++$2K for clutch, jeopardize warranty issues, get my Porsche tech ticked off again and have no turbo for week or more. Great suggestion but a bit short from EP1 one.

 

Hmmm, I previously had the EVT580 tune and now the EVT700 tune. Both had/have loud starts and, if I'm not mistaken, the car starts up in open-loop mode until temps have been reached just like any other car w/ a regular tune...thus loud and crackly.

 

So you didn't like that suggestion? It's a goody though....seriously. Anyway I do hear you on the warranty but once that runs out its worth considering even though the EP1 really does liven up the car in stock tune trim.

Hmm. Oh well that can only mean change your tune or get evoms to disable the function. Just a suggestion..

 

Johnny - you must have me confused with someone else. My car is not an S (a mere Turbo) and I never had an EP1. I chose the BBI given I liked the tone more...but that was my personal choice as they are both excellent products.
