Front LED lights not avail for Turbos?

The W5W bulbs were being sold long before the 997.1 TT came out, they were never sold as a 997 TT specific item. The dLED is however a 997.1 TT specific item.
Your correct, a number of owners, myself included, installed the regular city lights before learning of the heat those little guys put out via Jason. It was listed 'for head lights' but I thought same fitment must be swappable but obviouslty that was not the case!

That's the way I remember it also - maybe that's why Hoen has done temp testing and has a temp tabel now.

Just to add, while the hoen look great they are not going to be a DRL look replacement, they are not bright enough for that in daylight use as its only a small bulb. The 997.2 TT looks like it uses a ring of LED lights for the DRL.

Yeah - all that really happens is that you're replacing one "yellowish" incandescent bulb with a white LED.
