Easy bolt in, and for a dad like me, absolutely what the doctor ordered. Looks like an easy bolt in. Those seats would come in handy if for whatever reason you have to unexpectedly pick up the kids from school, etc..

There is a relatively recent thread on this car and back seats..... I think I agree with you. Nice to have just in case. I was thinking of a GT3 before I purchased my Turbo and was concerned about the lack of read seats. I went with the TT so its not an issue.

That would rule out a roll bar and a few other track mods, although I admit sometimes I wish I could get my daughter in there too.

So any porsche dealer can do this for you? If so, how much would it run?

I've never heard of this being done. Also, if you look closely, you'll see that the rear seat backs are actually some sort of aftermarket/custom piece. To each their own, but I wouldn't want to risk having to explain to the insurance company why you had to fabricate your own backseat for a car designated as a two seater. Sure they mounting points for belts and such ARE most likely still under the carpet, but why go there? If you really want a back seat that badly, get a Turbo. Just my 2 cents...

Would also have a benefit on insurance premiums in some areas, as now it's a 4 seater, which has lower rates over a two
