Tire wear from lowering

I plan to install HR springs next week and have an alignment done afterwards. For those that have done this have you experienced any tire wear problems?

H&R claims you can get within stock spec with their sport springs but most people end up having either too much toe in or negative camber in the back. You might get lucky and not have to install anything else. Camber and toe move inversely with each other. You might get away with just adjustable toe links. The dog bones (rear adjustable control arms) are a bit more expensive.

No, gmg's are different, but any lowering will change the native geometry. This is where dog bones are really useful to correct the geometry.

You will get more wear on the inside of the tires no doubt, especially on the rears. I don't think there is anyway of getting around this...

We suggest also installing the RSS adjustable rear links "dog bones". They just lowered the price which makes it even a better deal. Adjustable toe steer kit helps get things to spec also.

PM or email for pricing

Dropping the car we likely change the rear toe/camber so best bet is to get some adjustable rear links to help out. Your tires will thank you
