Norcal - Track Days / Schools

Hello,

Just seeing if anyone had any recommendations for track days or schools. I have about 19k on my clock and I've been patiently waiting to get her out on the track where she belongs. I find myself only driving her on Fridays as I feel like it's a crime to drive this car in traffic. She . . . I mean "we" belong out on the track!

It's been a year since I've been out to Infineon on my duc and find my interest in motorcycles dwindling since I'm a dad; too many close calls out there and I consider myself lucky!

Anyhow . . . I've been researching Hooked on Driving, SCCA etc - but seeing if anyone had any other recommendations.

Thanks

HOD has a lot of events at Thunderhill, which would be a good place for you to develop your p-car skills (lots of good run off room especially compared to Sears Point or Laguna Seca)...once you have had a few days there consider joining CFRA (checkered flag racing association) as they run TH, SP, LS and BW and have intermediate, advanced and racing run groups plus they are a bunch of great guys/gals...a track day with CFRA is a lot less expensive than HOD or any other organization...you can also check motorsports.reg for all open track/club events in norcal....you might also join Loma Prieta PCA or Golden Gate Lotus Club but they don't run very many events...
