I need DME pinout and related wiring diagram for a 997.1 turbo tip, has anybody got a scan of these they would be kind enough to share with me? TCU Pinout would be nice too if you have it.

That pin diagram is for Motronic 7.8, which is found in the 996 series. 997s use 7.8.1 and 7.8.2. Is the pin assignment the same for 996s and 997s?

 

well to be honest , i used this diagram to install my HKS boost controller and the aquamist methanol injection with (emre@esmotor) help !!! all the pins worked well except one pin which it was speed sensor !!! i think i may get a link from TCU for that sensor

BBYWU: Would you happen to have anything Turbo specific? The GT3 PDF's you have posted are a great help, specially the Tiptronic one, but it would be ace if you had anything that showed 7.8.1/2 DME boost/VTG control.

YSFG35: Great info. I too have the same question as BBYWU: Is there much difference between the 7.8 and 7.8.1/2? I can't seem to see any pin linked with boost/VTG control, did you ever find out which pins these were while fitting your BC?

I'm not ignoring your PM, I just haven't enough posts to reply to PM's at the moment. I like the sound of what you're up to with your 996 and look forward to hearing more about it. The reason I'm looking for 997TT diagrams is to research the possibility of totally replacing the DME with something like a Syvecs standalone. I'll be sure to post copies of anything forthcoming on the diagram front in this thread, as I'm sure it would be helpful to a few.
