Driveshaft Guibo

Apparently a bit of noise or vibration, and if it is really bad there will be clunks. Just saw the pics of mine and it definitely looks worn out. Getting one off ebay today.

Like to see the pics if you don't mind. Also when does the clunk you speak of occur? Is it all the time or, just between shifting after releasing the clutch and re applying the power?

The guy showed me the pics on his iphone so I don't have a copy. But if you google "broken driveshaft guibo" it will show pictures where there is a tear/crack in the rubber and that's what mine looks like, lol.
I'm not sure when and how the noises occur, but I think visual inspection is the first step and should be routine every couple of oil changes from what I've read. I know I'll get things checked more closely b/c it would be much more costly if it actually broke and caused damage.

uha. So no tell tale signs in operation to speak of then......just a visual inspection thing showed there was an issue with the rubber eh? Just that i saw in your other thread the mention of whines and clunks or something going on so thought id check on what the actual signs of this thing failing are. Surely must be some give away signs?
