I'll be disappointed if it is not nicely higher than the 997TTS' 530hp.

I'm happy with my 997.1 TT. No new TT for me until they decide to go for the Flat-8 TT with a more aggressive body.

Dual stage turbos are more for achieving flatter torque curves and better response. It makes a lot of sense achieving big power goals while getting NA like response.

lets imagine the possibilities of a triple turbo gt2 rs... 3000lbs.
a billet k16 for low end. two gt35's for high end.

i would imagine quarter miles in the 9s

Not sure the new A91 engine can support GT35s.

I think a tuner or Porsche could set up a car with twin-959 two-stage turbo's, with four turbo's total, running a smaller turbo in series with a larger turbo ala the 959 but with a pair on each side in parallel.

Expensive, but, using appropriate hardware components, manageable.

It's a 911 turbo, no matter how many turbochargers it actually has...

Why can't they just put in a pair of Tial Alpha 3076s and make 10 the loudest?

I don't care how many turbos are on it, did they do anything to strengthen the engine internally?

What would you do if they did strengthen the engine internals

Hey, somebody gets it!

I don't see a need for three... But two sequential turbos has every right to exist. I dislike the -more is better- mantra (unless we are talking about American products).

I mean, a few reasons for twin turbos is to allow for smaller turbos, quicker spool, etc...

With bigger turbos, it takes a few seconds to get up to speed, so the smaller turbo would compensate for that.

(Reminds me of the quad-charged GT-R... just don't need it)
