Front Licence Plate Options

Before the dealer drills the front bumper, can anyone recommend a good looking front license plate option for a 997.2 Turbo? (I know that's an oxymoron).

Any suggestions?
What is the price of a ticket in MA if I don't put one on?

Does anyone have these options:
-Altec Products Retractable Front Licence Plate w/ remote http://www.altecproducts.com/index.htm
-Skene Design http://www.skenedesign.com/FPBracket/Order.shtml

Thanks!

Search tow hook mount.
Personally I don't run one. TX law says I should but I have only been stopped once and given a warning. I do have the tow hook mount now but I just keep it in the frunk. I will just say I forgot to but it back on the next time I get stopped. Hopefully that will work.
There is a guy that sells them for around $35. I think his name is something like Strumberg.

+1 on the tow hook mount
Failure to display a front licence plate here is $176. After paying $352 in fines on my previous Cayman I spent $85 for one...
Price for vanity but North American licences plate just don't look nice on P-cars.

The website says they don't have a product for 997 - do you have one that works?

One trip through the Whitestone Bridge Toll booth and the idiot Toll Booth cop giving me a $125 no front plate ticket did the trick for me.

I refused to have holes in my bumper. I drilled two tiny pilot holes underneath and into the black grill portion, use two small L brackets to secure the plate holder, and then put two strips of velcro on it to stop it from flapping.

Looks fine and cost me zero.

That's a smart idea and a good way to have your plate centered without drilling holes in the bumper.

I really like the Altec design. I've never seen them in person. But here's a good video of one.

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions. I don't like the off-center look. I like a symmetrical layout. The ground clearance is 4.5in, so the Altec will bottom out in the retracted position. There are pros and cons to each system, but I think I am going to order the extra short bracketed Skene Design as a quick back up, but I really like the completely non-invasive brilliant technique of Periokid. I don't know how I am going to work this out with the out of state dealer, but insist that for the time being, NOT to install/drill ANY front plate holes, brackets, etc. I'll need time to fabricate Periokid's set up.

Bravo Periokid, where did you get those powerful magnets? Are they Neodymium? What did you use to affix the magnets to the plastic bumper? Did you contour the curve of the plate?

Thanks!

I didn't like the Skene one too much. I got the Gomingo, but it was sold by WSTO, think it was a bit cheaper, but very well made. The off center design is unique, I've even gotten compliments on it.
