New Porsche 997 Turbo owner
Hi guys,
Just purchased an '08 997.1 TT Tip.
Would love the PDK TT but they're selling it for USD$260-300k where I'm from.
Even my '08 TT is USD$190k. Car prices here are crazy expensive because of the tax.
This forum has a lot of very useful information for a newbie like myself.

Man the TIP ROCKS. For a DD its simply the best fit i believe. I've owned mostly BMW's but from racing clutches to SMGII ( which is very good) and I really like the tip. Being almost bulletproof is a huge feature too
Congratulations and welcome! This forum is a great place for information. Just be careful...it will make you want to mod your car.
Judging by the price you paid for the car, I'm guessing either Philippines or Brazil? Am I close? lol

I had an E46 M3 as well too. Is your 997TT a tip too ?

Tom & 512bb,
I'm from Kuala Lumpur. Car prices here are ridiculous.

Itching to start the mods but want to drive it stock first to learn the car.
And I'll start modding it once I get bored of the power, handling, etc.
Thanks guys !
Gas prices are as follows :
RON 95 - RM 1.90 ($0.65)
RON 97 - RM 2.80 ($0.95)
RON 97 Racing - RM 3.10 ($1.03)
Cheap compared to you guys.
