i did the unthinkable- i sold my 996tt and bought a new jag xkr-s (550hp, 100 cars in USA). I was looking for a 997 tt S, but one of these became available and i couldn't pass it up. i'm sure i'll be back to the porsche turbo world again, because they are awesome cars and it's a great community. here's a pic of my car from the showroom the day before i picked it up.

 

Very nice, Jag has done a spectacular job reinventing themselve....bravo!

Congratulations! The new Jag is an extremely classy ride and with 550 hp to play with, it should be more than a good substitute for a TT.

Under the new ownership, Jag has done a terrific job pushing the envelop they helped invent.

I first looked into getting an Xkr-s in the fall, but Newport jag wanted $50k over sticker, because there are only 100 coupes coming to USA in 2012 (and 15 convertibles). However, I checked a couple weeks ago and some dealerships were selling for msrp ($133k), so I got one when I found the color combo I liked.

 

Saw the car in person last week. Its very agressive looking and Jag has done a great job.
