Rock chip vs Installer damage??????
This sort of thing has happened to me and it seriously sucks! I now make a point of going over everything on my cars that could have been touched when I have work done. The dealer replaced my rear tires on the Cayman last month and luckily did no damage at all, which is good for them because the turbo II rims aren't cheap
Rock chips, etc kill me as well, but I always try to remember that more than likely no one else will ever even notice such minor imperfections, and if you're going to drive a car on the street, something will eventually happen

You have every right to be, unfortunately it's hard to trust anybody these days to do things the right way. I definitely suggest always giving things a once over after you have work done
Agreed it was my mistake however nontheless the damage is done now my conern is finding someone who can do a good touch up job.
BTW the local Wheels works Manager has agreed to cover the cost of the fix.
