I was thinking the same thing, why does it take so long to load up. Cleared everything on my Tandy 100.

FWIW, we've been having AT&T problems for the last week or two...even got an unsolicited call from them 5 days ago asking if we'd had any hiccups. Problems have been minor, and intermittent, but speeds do seem to have dropped some.

 

Around where I live 20 is cooking! I'm sure a faster connection will be available but for what I do, it is plenty fast!

5 tabs at a time??? I may have 2 open at once but 5 is a lot! You sound like my wife??? I thought only women can multi-task that well!!!

 

I had a Tandy TRS 80, or as we use to call it, the TRASH 80!! LOL. It had a tape drive too!

When I made the move to the Apple 2 Plus, I thought I was big time!!!

Now I'm all Apple.

 

Australia's turn today. Unbelieveably slow loading today. Has even dropped off the server a few times due to such slow loading. Tried 5 different computors (all very powerful) on both wifi and LAN....no different. It's just with 6speedonline.com. Everything else is super fast and loads up perfectly. Have cleared history, re booted...still very slow. Somethings wrong for sure.

 

Best would be to screenshot load times from pingdom.com and send to mod (I think)

Tks. I'll get my It guy to take a look....he's funny about me downloading stuff.... although amazingly it seems to have got better since later this afternoon. This morning and up until 2pm it was an absolute shocker for 6. Not sure what caused it...

 

That's huge lag. You guys might want to check OpenDNS.
