Thatta boy Speed21, bringing that hate on STRONG buddy! I expected no less from you, and you did not disappoint. Took a little nudging but you just couldn't help yourself, could ya?

Post 29, 66,84, 86.. + Many other recent threads too where i've spoken fondly of APR. But i'm sure a wise guy like you knew that....or, are you just relying on times long gone by when i and others were originally questioning the 1 bar max boost claims which were later found to be flawed by costas. Just ask Skand and Costas how much i'm hating on APR.... And Matt, too...
Sorry I'm not going to waste my time reading any more of the garbage you type when it comes to criticizing APR. I can however say that for every lukewarm thing you've ever said about APR, anyone can cite 10 completely negative things you've said about them. So how does that all stack up??<O</O

As usual you are dead wrong. So you are saying that there are other tuners on this board that have dealers worldwide where you can easily roll up to, get a 6 hour tune without spending a dime, and try their tune absolutely free? Money back guarantee still means you have to pay doesn't it? Risk free means you're not paying a dime, doesn't it? I know this must be very difficult for you to comprehend, but just try to stay with me here...

Na man! As you can see, I had more important things to spend money on. Either way, you foolishly ignored the comment that I wagered Vivid would sell 130 sets before the copies would start flooding the market. He hasn't even sold 40, so your comment doesn't even make any sense - that's just more hate flowing through those fingers.... BTW those comments were made over a month ago, and now you want to talk about it? C'mon now don't keep all that pent up, you gotta let that hate out more often!<O</O
<O</O
Check this out. When someone asks where his DRLs were being built, Vivid's responds:<O</O

So Vivid has no problem mocking people who say they will wait for an Asian copy of his DRLs, when the very DRLs he is selling are an Asian built copy of the Speedarts. <O</O
<O</O
The molds and plans are already there, it doesn't take a wiseguy to realize it's only a matter of time. And yes, people are crazy to spend a grand for the "real deal" Taiwanese Vivids.

So you were very politely rolling your eyes huh? Please. Don't back peddle now, you're already knee deep.<O</O

I guess the only fallback to that is EP2 is awsome anyway. GL. Something tells me you need every bit you can get...

If you would have actually read what I said, I said Stef WARNED me about the EP2. I did not say he ADVISED me against it. Since your hate is strong enough to blind your reading comprehension, you really should go look up the definitions of those two words to see the difference. While you're at it, why don't you look up the definition of the word 'racist?' You got a problem throwing that word around too.

Oh, and it doesn't take luck to do BFM @ 600kts, but thanks anyway. <O</O

Steverin06 has taken his time to share their experience with a tune and exhaust, please be respectful and stay on topic. Some of the things being discussed here have nothing to do with the topic and discourages others from wanting to share their experiences.

APR Stage 1 is a tune made for a stock car or a car with intake. It can have a 100 octane mode Stage 1 as well. The APR Stage 2 tunes are made for cars that have a free flowing exhaust or a catless exhaust. The stage 2 tunes make more power and also keep your car's CEL happy if you run catless.

Seems to be some confusion about the differences between the two stages. Prodigymb correct, both stages offer as many different octane programs as you are willing to buy (up to 4). The stage two (testpipes version) disables the cat CEL for people running catless exhausts. I'm not quite sure if the stage two tune itself makes more power, however.

CAS, and it's not necessarily past mach (it's getting warmer here.) Approaching the merge at those speeds it gets really difficult to maneuver correctly while keeping your specific energy.

Hi Steve & and everyone reading!

I would like to say a few things but first, to Steve - Great write up sir! Well done. If I could only make a suggestion next to flip the computer around so our logo is facing right side up lol JK Great post and I can not sleep at night knowing you are enjoying your ride. Shoot me an email after you get a chance to experience 100 octane would you??? Your in for a real treat.

As for the different stages that APR offers for your car there are only two stages. Stage one is software for the stock turbos and stock exhaust and stock or aftermarket air box. Stage 2 is adding high flow cats or deleting the factory cats with or with out a performance muffler. However if your like Steve here and you receive our net book to flash your ECU with the APR programming and you get to the "choose your file page" in the file description it states Stage 1 and Stage 1 with Test Pipes. I hope this helps answer this question. If anyone else has any other questions regarding this please feel free to contact me via phone or email. My info is in my signature

If anyone has any interest in the APR programming for the 997 Turbo Gen 1 or would like to know a little more about please also feel free to contact me about this as well.
