Steering Wheel ?

Steering Wheel ? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
I am looking at getting a 997.1TT and see two main steering wheels. The center air bag section is different as there are round ones and triangle ones. What is the difference and why would a car come with one versus another as I can not figure it out. Are the triangle ones for trip and round for manual for the trip buttons? I also only want a manual car. <o></o>
<o></o>
Also, I have radio control features on my current car and like it so I was hoping the multifunctional option for the steering wheel will control this. When looking at close up pics it more looks like a pictures of a phone on one of the button? Can you help me figure this out? <o></o>
<o></o>
This option is not a deal breaker, but it is bugging me as why there are different ones and what the functions do. <o></o>
<o></o>
Thanks<o></o>

The triangle one is the multifunction wheel that has the radio controls...etc. The round one doesn't have the controls.

And there is a factory thicker steering wheel as well. At least I'm pretty sure there is.

Round airbag indicates "sport" steering wheel - comes in standard padding and thicker padding (option XPA). Triangle airbag steering wheel is the standard steering wheel. You can option the triangle airbag steering wheel to be a multifunction steering wheel which allows you to control radio and phone options (if equipped) via steering wheel controls.
You could have figured this out yourself with a little research.
