Just curious if any Turbo owners have swapped their stock wing for a stationary duck tail style? Anyone have any pics or links to a turbo with such a mod?

I maybe picking up a turbo (07 997.1) and I rarely keep things stock... my build may include a completely different looking rear deck lid/wing set up...

For example here is my once stock narrow bodied 05 997.... completely bastardized and not for everyone but how I like it. The car get lots of questions and interest from other Porsche owners and for me meeting other people into cars, a conversation starter and something unique to my taste is part of the fun of owning cars. + its a driver (although a bit low in front) and care less about packing on miles and enjoying the car...I respect the purists...just not for me..

Not that it makes too much of a difference, but are you picking up a 997 or 997.2 Turbo? Personally, I think the Ducktail would great on your current car, no so much on a Turbo.

 

Good question, 997.1 (07)..... My car is a wrap, just going to keep it and drive it... but tend to agree my car could look good with a duck style rear... but I am looking for more car (speed, power etc) in the Turbo and just how I am with cars I will be modding it into something a bit different I am sure...

Thanks, seal grey... just what I have now is no turbo I have thought about boosting this car wether SC or a Turbo kit but want onto something else to mod....
