extra passenger is not good for the performance. Makes a big difference actually. put a guy in the GT-R too to make it even.

Racing GTR's is a Porsche 911 Turbo driver's favorite past time! I have a 2012 Turbo S and my friend has a 2010 GTR. Check out our webpage for races. The absolute best spot to race from on the highway roll for a Turbo S is 55 mph. Second to that is a 70 mph. Tried and tested many times. I was able to stay dead even with a 700+whp whipple boss 302 at 55 and 70 recently, and my Turbo S makes ballpark stock, 476 whp. Good luck and let me know what happens!

That kit only has a cat-back and conservative tune. A Turbo S should still be faster considering the weight difference between the two cars.

Quote: Year of GTR? 600hp or 600whp?
either way u can go with tune/exhaust with new turbo S.

We are missing ur epic videos bro
600 hp. A 580-600whp GT-R would absolutely embarrass any Turbo S.

I did a 30-130 a few mo back against a 600+ hp GTR. The exhaust on that thing sounded like a jet fighter!. My bone stock 997.1 lost by 1/2 CL and only lost ground on shifts. The GTR was cool and I thought he would kill me with the mods... didn't happen?

The Turbo S is very fast...for a stock car. But until it's running low 10's at 137-138 in the 1/4 mile it has absolutely no chance against a 580-600 awhp GT-R.

My GT-R with only a mid-pipe and tune at 530 awhp (600 at the crank) would pull a stock Turbo S. Heck, I beat a 625 rwhp Corvette at this level from a roll and posted the video.

Also possible it wasn't a 600HP. A lot of people say they have 600HP when all they have is a Y-pipe, and possibly an OTS tune from Cobb using the AccessPort. This happens way too often for me to take anyone's word for it anymore...

i remeber when i got the gtr in 2008 and car & driver dyno the gtr it was more what nissans says 480hp !

we didn’t get a chance to dyno-test the two slower GT-Rs, three of the five were so close in performance that we believe they accurately represent the GT-R’s capability. Clearly, Nissan is delivering more than the advertised 480 horsepower. And the most likely figure is about 520, which is yet another reason to bow to the best performance value since the Corvette Z06

i got that from Car & Driver article says whats gtr real horsepower
