Key 1 to Key 2 Change

Hey guys. I have 2 keys for my car. One says "Key 1" on the dash and other says "Key 2." Is it possible to change the key number on my own or will I have to take it to a dealer? Thanks.

You have to take it to the dealer as this is what I had to do also...

Each key number is identified by a transponder. The blades are the same.

OP: Why don't you just use the other key?

I think that when buying a used car, the key2 is always like new, while the Key1 has been used! That is the reason why I was looking to do the same!
