headlight adjustment error mesage

Hello. I am getting strange error message. it pops up and then goes away and leave no signs. it says something like HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT FAIL ...etc.
and i noticed that my left (or both) headlights in low beam are kind of LOW, and then they try to raise up, and goes right down and this error pops up. and so on. I drove at night last night and noticed this strange behaivour. can anyone tell me what should i look for in this error message?

Hello look on the left side of the front wheel and back wheel and you will see two sensors one in the front and one in the back, its a sensor with linkage you may have a broken link or simply a faulty sensor...

This.

Have you lowered your car recently, or is it stock? If not, revert to Nello's response.

Good point ECS Tuning, out of curiosity have you seen that happen before? I mean say you lower the car approx 1 inch have you seen issues with headlight adjustment?

as owner of a lowerered car Ive never experienced it. I would remove the lamps and reinstall, takes all but 5 minutes per side to see if that resets anything in the lamp itself.
