Question Mystery 20" Center Lock Wheels

Hi,

Saw these 20-inch Center Lock Rims today on a 997.2 TTS and I'm wondering if anybody here knows if they are Porsche OEM or not, and in the latter case, who makes them?

Okay, this is a bit of a stretch, but I was playing the new VW iPhone game, Sports Car Challenge, which features a 991 Carrera S, and this wheel is one of the options on the car. So... if I were to hazard a guess, I'd say this is one of the available OEM wheels from the 991, transplanted onto a 997. A pretty darn nice wheel, but I think I prefer the RS Spyders still.

I was always a fan of that 5-star look. Awesome looking wheel. Since they are a factory wheel, im sure Suncoast or Sonnen Porsche can get you more info/ pricing on them; if they can chime in.

Interesting theory -- I haven't seen a 991 Tequipment catalog yet though and even if there was one, I haven't seen a center lock option for the 991 C2S.

My working theory is that these were custom made. Who I'm not sure yet.

As to preferring the RS Spyders: even discounting personal taste, these are 20"... the RS Spyders are only available in 19".

I've been peeking ahead, and I haven't seen any new wheels for the 997.2 generation. Anything is possible, but I don't think this is factory.
