997.2 TT FVD exhaust?

Hello, I recently bought a new 997.2 turbo PDK and had a FVD tune put on it. I took it to the track last night for the first time with 1200 miles on it and ran an 11.007@127. I was a little disappointed I didn't get into the 10s, but I only got two runs in and it was humid and there was a headwind. With some more practice I could have done it. Question for those who have drag raced theirs. I used launch control on both runs. I only got 2 runs so didn't have time to experiement any. Is it better to use LC or off idle? Sport+ or some other mode?

Anyway I was thinking of doing exhaust next and was thinking of sticking with FVD as mixing vendors when it comes to tuning isn't such a good idea. They have a stage 2 kit I was looking at with 200 cell cats. They're claiming 620 HP with it. The only odd thing is if I add up individual parts I don't come up with 620, but around 595. No HP gains for the headers are listed so that might make up the difference or special tuning as part of the kit. What are your thoughts on FVDs kits?

It's good to know it sounds good. I was looking more for performance numbers for the stage 2 package from FVD. Anyone have any experience with that? Dynos, 1/4 mile, etc?

Bildad, If you plan on getting into the 10's, simply put in 100 octane fuel before you make your runs. Our software works in a range from 91 octane to 100 octane so with higher octane, timing will be advanced, knock sensors will be retarded which will give you more power.

The kit works together so you see more power when you have all the parts working symbiotically.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Took it back to the track today and ran a 10.787 @ 127.49. Just needed some more runs with it to get it down pat. Started at 11.119 today and worked my way down.
