Recently my '12 TT has been making a short (1 sec) metalic grinding noise on startup coming from the front of the car. It does it most times, but not every time. Doesn't matter whether it's cold or been sitting only 30 min. It has 2k miles on it and an FVD tune.

My GT3 before it made all kinds of noises like the common grinding on startup so thought I would ask before I was concerned. That was from the engine in the back though and this is the front. Only thing up there is the front diff I can think of that could be making it.
