2012 991 Body Conversion for 997.1

Fellas, I am skeptical about this and need opinions... I heard nightmares about fiberglass body kits and just returned my fiberglass replica Tech art front bumper; for a lack there of perfect quality..

$25k for the 991 update?

I once saw a really beautiful 996 wicked kit to the upgraded 997.2 look and really inspected it to see it was flawless.

They sell the fronts and rears alone. Im not a fan of fiberglass and I have yet to see pics on a 997- Waiting for the turbo parts make sense but im sure the conversion is a headache'-

Guinea Pig anyone?

No personal experience but have heard many things about these kits....and they're not good. My advice: Move along. Nothing to see here.

if youre gonna use glass fibre, then put a clear bra on it - completely eliminates spider cracks which will turn a GF nose to shatzook.

btw, isnt the 991 geometry totally diff? longer wb etc?

not a good move, I mean 25 grand to buy the kit, plus at least 7-10 to place this on your car, you might as well, get a Carrera S they are super fast....

Did you see the prices of their "kit cars"?
For the price you can buy the real thing and mod it to the moon.
Seems like a bad choice to me throwing a bunch of money out the window.
Probably unlikely to resell, only if you take a huge hit.
