ECU / Exhaust question

I just installed a cat bypass pipe x pipe exhaust this past week. I would like to know if an ECU flash is required? I have bigdaddiesgarage O2 sensors so no CEL lights appear. nly concern is whether or not it is safe to run this exhaust without a flash to change or correct the air fuel mixture. I dont want to harm the engine should it run lean. Any suggestions? Thx

Running an exhaust without a tune should always be fine. But you should only get a tune if you want more power extracted to compensate for the added exhaust.

Some people only buy hardware and never software so go figure.

I'm planning on getting the software, just wanted to make sure no harm would be done in the mean time. Thanks.

Turbos, unlike naturally aspirated engines, don't need the backpressure from exhaust and love to run wide open. You will not harm anything, if it were not a Turbo you would probably still be okay. Only when you start talking about drag pipes or just enough off the header to get the heat past the bumper do you start to worry about bending valves.
