You'll see a 25-30% drop when you hit 25. Also they factor your credit score, dropped me about 10% and education about 7%.

Just got my 07 turbo insured for $660/6 months through Farmers. $1k deductible

Ameriprise initially quoted a much higher price on the 997TT if I had insured it as an extra car. I insured two cars with them and listed me as the driver of the TT and my wife as the driver of the MB. I used Mercury for the other two cars listing each of us as the primary driver of each one also.

They could not give me a satisfactory answer (or any answer) as to why it was much more expensive if insured as an extra car as opposed to a daily driver. I am in So Cal, I wonder if because no ice conditions helps the rating.

$1500 for the '07 TT, 2500 miles, 250/500, $500/$100 deductible
$2140 for the '04 X3, 7,500 miles, 250/500, $1000/$100 (son is primary and drives back and forth to school once a week)
$1150 for the 08 335xi, 7,500 miles, 250/500, $1000/$100 (daughter commute car to work)
$925 for the 09 Sienna, 10,000 miles, 250/500, $1000/$100 (the tahoe bus)
$520 for the 03 M3 vert, 2,500 miles, 250/500, $1000,$100 (my other weekend car)
