Found these pics on another site you can hardly recognize the car ,not sure if this guy made it out ,apparently he was going 160 mph & hit a semi ,only 4 hrs after buying the car.

Wouldn't want to have survived an accident such as this. Severe brain deceleration injury & poly organ/ortho trauma, just for starters. These speeds on public roads! -> Darwin's law of natural selection

They did not make it out of that wreck and as sad as it is, taking that car out at that speed on public roads with fresh tires is STUPID and I am just glad that nobody else was hurt except the occupants.
911s have terrible, if any crash ratings. A friend of mine's cousins took out a dad's 911 one night shortly after HS graduation in Chicago a few years ago. needless to say they both died after rolling the car a few times at 120+. Apparently the car burst into flames and they were charred by the time first responders arrived. And no, the father didnt allow the car to be taken. scary stuff. Pics like these help keep my foot light.
^even the best crash-rated car wouldn't have saved your friends if they rolled a car at 120+. it wouldn't have saved the driver in the OP either. the 911 actually gets pretty decent crash test ratings, IIRC
