How often should a fuel filter be changed in a 997 TT.. Thanks for any information.

 

The Fuel Filter interval for the '07 and '09 is 60k or 6 years, and '08 gets it at 48k or 6 years. In 2008 Porsche changed all their service service intervals to 12K mile increments. Then in 2009, they decided that it was a bad idea, and went back to the 20K increments. Unfortunately, all the 2008's have the 12k mile interval programmed into the instrument cluster service reminder.

Have you changed the fuel filter on your car? I have a 2008 TT and I asked the dealer to replace the fuel filter at the 60K mile service. The dealer said there is no fuel filter that requires replacement???

 

It should have been replaced at the 48K, then it would be true that your filter doesn't need to be replaced at 60k mark. It uses the same filter as the one shown below.

 

hm...the dealer said there us no fuel filter need replacement according to your mileage or in general?If he means in general...i would say walk...or better run....
