Durametric the gold standard? Other data loggers?
I want to mod my new 997.2 TTS but I want to get to know how it normally operates first. I guess i'd be looking to data log rpm, timing, mafv, knock correction, boost, and AFRs if they are useful (I dont know much about the O2 sensors in these cars yet but I own a couple wb02 setups I could put in.)
google found Durametric, .. are their others? Does a softronic tune also come with a datalogger?
thanks!

Ultimate Motorwerks also has their own data logger that they use for their tuning process. The big technical advantage with that one is that it can read individual cylinder preknock sensors to allow them to create a safe tune.
I've been dealing with Kevin and he has been helpful.
Good luck.

Duremetric is the only commercially available one that I would trust. However, it cannot be used to tune the car. I have the enthusiast cable (which doesn't allow you to change some parameters) and will be upgrading the professional cable which does allow you to change many parameters. You can get yourself into trouble with these things!
