AllLimbic is infamous around these parts
suspension noise gt2

Just bought a 2008 gt2, and I notice when I turn the steering wheel at rest or slow speed I hear a "twang." On the road it's tight and doesn't drift or pull during stopping. I bought the car with 1900 miles. The car has been babied. It didn't make the noise during my test ride. I live in San Antonio, and the roads aren't the best. Could it be a steering linkage? Thanks.

Have someone turn the wheel lock-to-lock while you are outside looking at the car. I bet you will see the front tire essentially sticking to the pavement. Hard to explain.

Nothing to worry about if that is what you see, totally normal particularly with cars with wide front tires.
