Turbo,s in cold air ??
Been cold up here in seattle but clear and sunny , Took my car out yesterday and and it felt and pulled very hard just seemed to have a little added power ?
Is it in my head or does cold dense air help out our Turbos..

it does help. not sure of the exact amount but this article begins to quantify the impact

"The rule of thumb is that, for non-turbo-supercharged engines, horsepower increases by about one percent for every 10 degree drop in intake air temperature. Multiply that by the turbo-supercharger's pressure ratio as applicable. For example, you might get an 11-percent increase if you're running a 1.1-to-1 pressure ratio or a 15-percent increase in power for a 1.5-to-1 ratio."
Using the above, since our TT are pushing 14 psi to 17 psi in sports mode that is ~2.2:1 in sports mode so 22% more power? I'm not sure how accurate that is but directional you should be getting more power due to the denser air.
someone who is better informed can chime in for an better explanation

The power comes from the cooler denser air as well as having the entire engine running at operating temperature so you don't get the heat soaking and the negative effects of the heat which cause the car to pull out timing. Just watch out as you get more power, but the tires grip drops!
