Hello everyone!

I currently have the APR+exhaust flash with 100 octane race program. I was wondering is there any reason i couldn't/shouldn't run 100 octane for an extended period of time? I put about 200-800 miles a month on the car and i would really like to keep using 100 octane with the APR 100 octane program on. Please advise. Thanks!

PS. Here is the latest, she's so pretty....

Hello,
Nothing will happen to your car. Bear in mind that if you have a heavy right foot and in combination to your 100 octane map (where your ignition timing is more aggressive) your plugs will wear out sooner. In about 6k or 7k miles don't forget to check them out. This depends on your driving style though. Enjoy your car. I always leave the car with the "race" map loaded too... It's an addiction!

Feed your addition. There shouldn't be any negative impact. I find that the back of the car gets "bleached" with the exhaust, but that's about it. "Bleached" is actually the wrong term, my black exhaust tips have gotten a clay tint to them.

I would run 100 in my car, but there is only one place in Newark, NJ that carries it now and then the cost is another issue!

Good to hear. I have noticed a more substantial amount of "soot" on the rear bumper, so far it's coming off with a normal bath.

Thanks for the info!
