Power on pumpgas with Alpha3076 vs VTGs...
An upgraded tune, did a few new loads and logs, received a new "merge".
The car is more pleasant to drive and times a bit better, i'm quite happy, for the moment...

Hmmmm...
I heard one of our sponsors (brilliant updraded VTGs user) bolted a set of HTA3071 on a 997.1TT, I pm them but no answer for now...
I won't name them until they do it, but I hope they will share soon!

K24F....if you're using a 66mm VTG you definitely have a lot more room for more power. I would see if your tuner can offer some input before you abandon the VTG's altogether.
To give you an idea....our 65mm VTG's produce 600 WHP on pump gas, which would conservatively equal about 750 BHP at the engine. Without knowing too much about exactly what VTG's you're using, I still think you have some room for improvement with your current setup. You might just need a few little mods and a new tune to get you where you want to be.

We tried several tune improvements, the engine "takes" more boost and angle without knocking but does not perform better at top end, something is choking.
Low and mid range are now Ok, I even think about a rebuilding cause I guess the peak torque might be around 920N (on my current dyno, Superflow)
I guess it is the max with my Vtgs, I dunno how many whp my car could produce on US dynos, but 100-200 is now low to mid 5' and 200-300 about 15' to 16'. (pumpgas)
Last bolt on improvements could be turbo intake pipes and better flowing ICs, while they allow GT-TT (Y.) far better top end than me. (Y. runs cams and ported heads I believe...)

That something is VTG's

It's 4.7 seconds the fastest and it was with 1.9 bar
with that kind of boost on vtg's, the car was going on to limp mode after 210 km..
and also i was talking about the top end which Pascal complains about, so how about after 200?

The GIAC software that I gave Kerim with out VTG kit was only programmed for 1.5 bar. When he made his 5.50 60-130 pass...he was still using our software.

Yes after 200 VTG's will be slower, but Pascal said that he's only looking to reach the low 5 second range.
i am using gtx3071 on my car. don't waste time with VTG kits, if you got a stock engine go for 3071 they are both very fast on low and high rpm's. i have seen 0-100kmh in 2,8 sec 1.6bar and the car in on the list at 5,06 sec 60-130mph at 1.80 bar. if you wanna use the car daily from 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6 bar they are so fast and responsive., salih(besiktas) or emre (emre@esmotor.com.tr) from esmotor can help you in more detail.

What other mods are done to your car?
Emre still has the logs.. It ran 1.9 - 2.0 bar

1.9 bar?

That's no possible with our GIAC software. It was only programmed for 23psi, which is rougly 1.56 bar.
I think after some time with the car, Kerim changed turbos and was running 1.9 bar with software that Emre made for him....but the original 5.50 60-130 was done with our software, exactly the way our package is sold. After he changed the turbos his car was MUCH faster!
You can see the original thread here where Kerim confirmed everything

My best 100-200 is 5,27' on pumpgas with 1,5bar maxi, so why not 4,5' with more boost, racegas or even brakeboosting?...
The 200-300 is very hard to improve now, times are equal from 1,25 bar to 1,4bar (and different timings)>5000rpm without knocking or time pulling (spent time on logs)...
Something might choking, my exhaust turbines or housings perhap's? (exhaust is a decated 2,75")
Strange thing: the top end feeling at driving is better with the lower boost!
New turbines are certainly the key for me to break the 15', remind I run pure pumpgas, no meth or else...
