I am trying to gather some info.
Getting my upgraded TPC VTG put on, Mike over at TPC said the car is better off with stock air box with high flow BMC filter, Dave at Fabspeed said it wont effect (positive but no negative) the performance with upgraded turbos.

What do you think?
Will i loose performance with fabspeed intakes? I already have them in my garage trying to see if it is even worth to put on... Or just sell it.

It the latest version with carbonfiber heat shield and carbonfiber pipings.


Also will 74mm plenum add any power with the TPC turbo setup? I know it would have been better with 82mm with gt3 t-body, but same thing, i have IPD 74mm plenum sitting at my garage.

Are these parts perform same or better than stock parts? If i am not LOOSING power might as well just put them on.

 

The design is not good at all. Look at where it draws the air from. Stick with what Mike says. Dave gets paid to sell his stuff of course that is what he is going to say.

 

Fabspeed intake and many other aftermarket intakes are not worth it, stock intake is great and perfectly designed.
