Wheels Arches

I"ve noticed the rear wheel arches behind the doors is getting pitted at the bottom. Is there a paint protector available as can't find one as would have liked it shaped or is it a case of shaping some helicopter tape myself?

Looked at fitting some front wheel arch extensions as they look good, can't believe 4 bits of plastic is 700 quid. Think I can do without..
