FWIW the tip is a Mercedes tranny. I dont know if its a weak link or not.

very loosely speaking i think we'll be 10k lower in 2 years.

I just picked up a 997.1 for my wife and I really like the car, it's very smooth and quick but honestly I like the GTR better. It's not as smooth but it's faster, and the electronics don't suck.

Incidentally I barely beat a 991 Carrera S the other day with the GTR (stock 2010). Have you looked at the Carrera S? If I had to do it all over again I probably would have picked up that car it was only $10k more...
