My 2010 TT came in last night. Its beautiful, ill post pictures soon. However, this squeak sounds it makes is driving me nuts. It sounds like someone is turning a squeaky wheel slowly, prruup ..... prruup ..... prruup. I drove the car all day today hoping that it would go away but it wont.

I took a picture of where I think it is coming from but I have no idea what it is or what its called. Any ideas on how to remedy?



When I rest a screwdriver on top of it I can feel the vibration in sync with the squeak.

 

I was able to fix the squeak by re-seating that air valve shown in pic above. Not seen in the pic, the bottom portion was slightly slanted. I believe air pressure was leaking and causing a whistle each time the valve opened. Now I can enjoy the sound of the turbos!
