997 Turbo pricing
Good luck with your search!!
I have no data to base this on, but my guess would be there is a percentage of 997TT owners that will want move into the 991TT. That should create more supply of the 997TT.
Additionally, leases will continue to roll off and for those who lease, regardless of if their next car will be a 991TT, that also creates more supply.
Unless the 991TT is a flop, you should expect more supply. At any point in time there is a thin amount of buyers for used sports cars, so anything to impact the balance should impact the price.
I don't think the impact will be immediate, it may take another 12 months to happen. Are you willing to wait that long?

It depends on what year you are looking at. The 07-09' units have taken a pretty good hit aleady. (40-50% off MSRP) They should hold steady for a while. The 10-13' on the other hand have a lot more room. Prices should continue to fall until the release of the 991 Turbo.

What will take the biggest hit? The "percentage of 997TT owners that will want to move to a 991TT"? The biggest bargain will be the 997.2 TTS in my view. It will have performance closest to the 991TT, but will now be slower. Some people will dump them, simply because they have the money and now own yesterday's news. You definitely see this now with 2012 GTS's, which are the current best value. Many people simply bought them as stop gap cars before the 991 and traded them as soon as the 991 was out. Many GTS's have high asking prices, but often are sold at very reasonable numbers.
Value is the strongest where I was looking '08-'09 turbos. You can easily find a '12 GTS cheaper.
i was looking at an 08 997 black black with suede interior. black champion wheels. 65k miles with cermanics. 4 owner car.
$65k is what they were asking and did not budge.
the car sold yeterday. i think the prices of 997.1's are coming down a bit.

I hope so too!
I was looking at 997.1tt prices about a year ago and the higher mileage(50k+) ones were sellling in the low 70k range. I checked recently and I see a lot more in the low 60k with similar mileage. There were a few dipping into the mid 50k range which was surprising. Pristine ones will always command more. You will see the last strong depreciative drop within a year of the release of the 991tt and the prices will bottom out in a few years. 996tt prices seem to have bottomed out and have been pretty steady over the past year or 2.
