I picked up a 2008 911 Turbo from the forum in January. It is Basalt Black with Natural Brown interior.

I'm considering to do a matte grey metallic vinyl wrap. I was told the wrap would run anywhere between $3-5K depending on the level of detail I want.

Would the wrap be worth it? I only want to keep the car for around 2 years. Would the wrap increase the value of the car at all? The paint is already 5 years old so a wrap would give the exterior a new life.

My buddy is getting his 700rwhp ZL1 Camaro wrapped in matte black for $2,500, I think it is sweet...plus if you car never had the clear bra (which is an absolute must IMO) the paint is going to show some patina...Wrapping it solves that & you can change it once it you grow tired of it. If you car did have a clear bra, its probably ready for another one...that is going to run you a couple grand that I just spent on fully wrapping my tts. Go for it!

 

No to be a pain but you are driving a 911 TURBO 2008 no a Nissan GTR or a Camaro.... that car is just beautiful the way it is.... (i love the 997 TT in black) 5 years for the original paint is nothing but this is just my opinion.
