Hi everyone.

+1 especially regarding the front spoiler. ;-)

I recently lowered my car with GMG springs and could not be happier. The stance is much improved, and while subjective I think it makes the car look more aggressive IMO (assuming you like that kind of thing)

I also find the slop and loose feel of the front end, especially in non-sport mode, is greatly reduced.

The GMG springs bring the ride height down about 20mm (0.8") and I haven't noticed much more scraping of the front end. However I am more aware of entrance ways, ramps and bumps and try to take them at an aggressive angle. I assume if I approached some of these road conditions the same as with stock height I would likely scrape the front lip, but even so it is $200 and a simple DIY swap

good luck

Do you have any suspension clicking or clunking? I lowered my last turbo with just springs and I'd get some clunking with full wheel lock. Been hesitant to do it again.... I wasn't using GMG however.

Lowered mine, no issues. I have the clicking issue at full wheel lock, but had that before I lowered, so it wasn't related (just don't turn wheel all the way now ). Great on track and looks much better.

I had the clicking/clunking under full wheel lock with the stock suspension/springs. Mine was more of the tires stuttering or rippling under full wheel lock but It's a fact of life with these cars, they all seem to do it to some degree.

Subjectively I've noticed the clunking to be better or less pronounced with the GMG springs and definitely not worse. Maybe when the tech installed the GMG springs and put the suspenion back together he tightened everything up better than how it left the factory

Same here, with the clunking noise at complete wheel turn, some times, not always.

I have H&R's that gave it a very aggressive drop, but no tire rubbing. Also have the oem aero kit, just go diagonal up slopes, you'll be fine

This was a easy choice for me Lowering is a must. The Pro is rides better and Con is you will scrape front end the first time is the worst.

Sometimes it's the rubber around the coils loose or moving, can let the springs spin slightly in their perch.
I'm thinking about a different route altogether, the b8s which are basically like a x73 designed to be used w lowering springs and stock links, pasm friendly, win-win.
