Pretty good price! Has anyone ever had any experience with Porsche products from AMS?

 

I like this set up, no fenderwell intake

 

Those intercoolers Finally thick dense cores with dedicated ducting

 

Anyone see any drawdacks just reading the info? Looks pretty slick....thats a lot of power.

 

That kit looks awesome! Also i agree about the girth of those intercoolers. Should be one hell of a kit

It's only been about a month since it arrived back home, but I've been having a blast with it. Can't stop driving it! It's got gobs of torque and powerband is huge. Big thanks to AMS for building a great turbo kit!

 

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but did you have the motor built as well?

 

Motor is stock. I plan to keep this my low-boost Saturday Night Special/Road trip car for a while. Just wanted a more power getting on the on ramps.....

At what boost did you make the 60-130mph in 5.97 seconds?

Kit looks great, and AMS knows their stuff. Probably not an issue to most 997 owners but that price was for the kit and did say "Labor not included". Labor isn't cheap for an install like that.

 

That 5.97 was done on amw's 19psi pump gas file

This looks amazing. I'd love to see how this compare to a Switzer P800. One of these two packages will likely be in my future.
