Agree, but the real surprise is auto pdk only. Gt cars may be ok with auto shifters but 911 turbos are not GTs, they're sports cars and sports car drivers enjoy manual trans. If I have wanted a GT with an auto trans, I would've gone aston martin, ferrari, audi, M3 c63AMG, etc. Sadly, looks like the manual box for +2014 will only be offered in USA cars and possibly still BMW M cars..

Going to stay a great performance car.
But beginning to look a bit "dull" to me, something about the interior is very generic. Center console stack could be mistaken for a mid range Japanese car from Acura or Infinity. For me personally it too tame looking. Doesn't do nothing for the senses.
I hope will still be a great success for Porsche and make the 997's a desirable classic.

 

A buddy of mine has a 2008 Infiniy M35 and the interior is SOOOO much nicer and more functional than my 997.1. I bet this will remain true for 2014. The 911 will always be about heritage and performance... at least it was... we'll see about the the new one. I'm still morning the loss of 6M and will likely build a Superlite for my next toy with an LS7/Ricardo 6M

 

So every turbo is going to have the side intake (vents ) in CF?

 

Imagine the huge discount for a 2012 leftover tts that's sitting on a lot, virtually the same car at a big savings.
That's what I would do, if I was looking.
