Extended shift knob
I've only seen a shift lever this long in sequential shift setups, which have the accompanied very short throws in their design.
You can do this conversion which I've seen mentioned here before (nearly 7K USD) http://www.sequentialshifters.com/index.html
Or you can get an entirely new sequential transmission dropped in which will probably be 20-30K+ depending on the brand/gears/etc + labor. Not really in street car territory after that, though.
It otherwise seems like the throws you get by just putting in the pictured lever will be incredibly long which I don't think will help driving on the street or the track.
