Sure we could do E85, We haven't reached the limits of the stock fuel system so I couldn't tell you exactly how much power it could make on E85. That is something we will be exploring.

Great thread.... Reminds me of threads on Supraforums where tuners laid it out there doing back to back comparisons of turbos and exhausts.

Great job AMS.

We are unsure of what core Champion uses to construct their IC's, but from our findings we offer by far the largest IC's on the market. They will surely support a 1200+ HP setup.

I grabbed some info from Tip car we are finishing up. This 997 also has an aftermarket open filter intake.

84 degree day

idle IAT was 107 degree

2nd thru 3rd gear pull we saw 116 degree

This was at approx 1.5 bar / 800 awhp.

please let me know if I can be of any further assistance

Larry

I like the idea of using the stock parts, especially if there is no gain in HP. I know for sure that I read a thread on here that used a "vendors" intake (named already in thread) on its initial run it made a very mild increase in HP (like 3-5hp) then once the car got outside and the computer learned all the hot air it was sucking in, it lost HP once redynoed.
I know these cars are sensitive to Hot Air, as are most cars. But if you add a part, that looses Horsepower but sounds cool? Couldnt you just put a alarm beacon and have it wired to play "SuperCoolLongPsshht.mp3" and "SuperCoolShortPsssht.mp3" between shifts

Leo997...
My 1st car was a 1994 Honda Civic Coupe and to reference the Civic as having a similiar sound to your Version 2 Exhaust is absurd. Having owned Both, the civic sounded far better than the Version 2 system.

I ll test it on 2.4 bar

I got another IC now, so my IAT is climbing to high
85 degree day
