New owner of a 997 Turbo

Recently just picked up a 07 with about 50k miles and the interior shows a lot of wear, especially since it's sand beige. High contact areas are just no bueno (shift ****, steering wheel, seats, etc). Any cheap fixes? Rather not replace but restore, I see ppl having good results w Leatherique, but am a bit skeptical at the amazing results. Climate buttons are worn too.

plan on clay barring it soon and putting on a layer of black wax. Any tips are welcomed!

Find a good car interior upholsterer. They can do magic and not that expensive. I now a place in NJ which may be too far for you.

What he said! All that's on the leather is a dye that goes on like paint. It can be redone anytime you need it and is cheep. My interior is also SandB. My driver seat and steering wheel were done for about $60. Filled the cracks and everything....looked like new. Now, 7mo later, the seat bottom is showing some discoloration again, but I'm real bad about getting in dirty or after playing Bball. I figure just get it done once a year.

Jersey may not be too far, however I would like some diy options. Personally enjoy detailing. Leaning towards leatherique and some 303 for vinyl parts. The armrest and dash are all leather?

Find the high end used car dealer in your area. Here in San Angelo, it's a Caddy dealer. See who they use to repair/resurface leather for the trades and auction stuff, then contact that person directly. This is how to get the best price.

Congrats! Any pics of these areas would be helpful. Bringing a shift **** or steering wheel surface back to life may be a challenge. May want to start with a cleaner such as Lexol or similar.

Clay barring is addictive! Love to see pics of the detail job. Black ext?

I think finding a professional will be my last resort. Many chimed in with the same response. Giving leatherique, p21s, and 303 a try first. I will post some before and after pics. I intend on doing some work this upcoming memorial day weekend, stay tuned, I hope I can work down magic with those products.
