07 Turbo Tip- durametric pro doesn't c tip module
Aloha folks, wondering if anyone with 07 turbo tip and with a durametric pro
cable can tell me if they can communicate with the transmission module.
My new Durametric pro cable, using latest vers 6 software (also tried vers 5) doesn't communicate with the tip trans module- all else is fine- i can clear codes, re-code various functions etc- When i try short test- all modules show green check mark except tip trans which doesn't show anything. When i try to open the transmission module it says can not communicate.
the cable/software communicates fine with my wife's 07 boxster S tip module but not with the tip module in the turbo.
i've talked with owen at durametric, sent files etc- they don't know why it doesn't work- said they have no tip issues they're aware of but don't have a turbo tip there to check-
Today i stopped by the porsche dealer and tech put the piwis on car and it communicated fine with Tip module so issue doesn't appear to be with my car.
Since it works with wife's 07 Boxster S tip- it doesn't appear to be the dura cable-
i'm stumped - wondering if anyone else with 07 turbo tip could let me know if they're having same issue with Tip module or any other help. There's no issue with car or trans all work well- it just strange not to be able to communicate with tip module. thanks folks

it never worked for me either. interestingly enough i had my tranny replaced due to a leak under warranty. neither the old tranny or the new tranny worked with durametric. I am more shocked that the guys at durametric thought it was supposed to work. I just always assumed that it wasn't supposed to. If it is really broken then i definitely want a fix for it Maybe someone will reply if they have had any success with it.
