New Wheels, Turbos and Tune
Hey Fellas, I have owned the car for my 3rd year and still the Mod-bug will not go away.
I just recently wanted to change the original 997.1tt wheels for an updated look and I think they are awesome wheels and will eventually paint them down the road... The car is also lowered with some GMG lowering springs.
I recently had European Performance Labs fit me some big Turbos with an upgraded fuel system, new Y pipe and custom exhaust, along with their custom tuning on both 93/e85... The car drives like stock and is a pleasure at low speeds (TIPTRONIC Trans).. The Tial BOVs on the Ypipe let out a crazy whipple and the A3076 Turbos really sing a symphony, running about 26 psi on 93. I have plans down the road in the winter to do more fuel system upgrading since we pretty much ran out of the stock fuel pump.
At 43k Miles its my main daily driver and I plan on keeping it that way; until I get some seat time in the 991T that is.
Enjoy, Mario

Very clean wiring of Electronic Boost Controller by EPL/ Amazing custom welds for a Ypipe to fit my aftermarket gt3rs wing..

very nice. My Y-pipe looks boring compared yours-just what is the extra hardware and could you get a pic showing air filters? Those wheels look real good. thanks. Do you drive it thru the winter months?
wow, looks pretty cool. Although I was wondering did it start as a turbo or a gt3? good job mate

Fellas, thanks for the feedback. The wheels are OEM Turbo Center locks.
For what its worth the car on 93pump gas puts down around 650whp/650rwtrq on EPLs dyno and thats maxing out the fuel pump with big injectors only...my old evt775 kit with 65mm vtg turbos was lacking HP and struggled to put over 450whp down on the EPL dyno..
Plans in the near future for a dual pump surge tank in the frunk of the car, my buddy is running this setup also built by EPL on his externally gated 3076 car and is making well over 800whp on the EPL dyno... which in my book is close to 1000crank/whp on many dynos!
Now the the weathers getting cold Ill be sure to bring it to the drag strip, to be honest I dont really care about the 1/4 mile or 60-130 times.. I've been busy beating on it around the local circuits where the real fun is...

Tiptronic was rebuilt at ~24k miles after hard abuse from my 65mm vtg kit on 109.. I sent the trans unit to Renntech where they really did a great and quick job.. I have been through it all with this car from Trans failure to headgasket failure along with the camshaft issue. Every car breaks once you start increasing power. Its awesome that companies like Renntech, and Evoms can sort out trans and engine failures like they are not even an issue to them...
I like to believe the Trans units of these cars are just as delicate as a 6mt, the clutches in those need to be replaced so often; same with the tiptronic unit under lots of power, just at higher intervals.
